Drinking one or two drinks per day is not a bad idea, as it helps modestly decreasing the risk of developing kidney cell cancer. This fact tumbled out from the latest study, which found that the risk of kidney cell cancer was 25 per cent lower among moderate drinkers than among the nondrinkers.
Actually, this is not the first study to come up with such findings, as studies conducted earlier have also transpired similar belief but what makes the latest study more conclusive is the fact that it is based on the analysis of data from 12 clinical studies and interestingly, this data has been derived from general populations in the Canada, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands and the U.S. Remarking on this very aspect of this study the investigator said:
One of the largest (study) to examine alcohol intake and risk of kidney cancer.
May be that alcohol consumption reduces the risk of kidney cell cancer but this fact can also not be ignored that its (alcohol) consumption has been linked to some other forms of cancers too. Following studies vindicate this:

Moreover, alcohol consumption has been found speeding up cancer growth. These negative aspects seem to be overshadowing the benefits, claimed by the latest study.
